Job description

Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs.
Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
Update software or enhance existing software capabilities.
May work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and develop specifications and performance requirements.
May maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team., * Provides ongoing support for existing platforms, manages customization, and maintains documentation.
Creates advanced finds, dashboards, and workflows.
Validates all user inputs prior to adding to back-end.
Generates architectural diagrams and additional documentation as necessary.
Provides support for SQL server databases.
Provides gap analysis and recommends solutions that account for NGA operational tempo and security constraints.
Knowledge and usage of Sprints within JIRA

Requirements

5-7 years of relevant experience, including but not limited to:
Proficiency in at least one major language (Python, Java, C#, JavaScript)
Experience translating requirements into technical solutions
Experience in research, design, and development of software
Experience with testing, deployment, and maintenance
Experience developing system specifications and performance requirements
Experience with database design and maintenance
Experience in code reviews
Understanding of system integration (hardware/software interaction), * TS/SCI with willingness to take CI Poly
US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident
