IT Consultant

• Utilizes expertise, analyzes and develops long-term solutions to IT needs through developing new or modifying existing applications
• Reviews systems requirements and business processes; mentors others on codes, tests, debugs and implements software applications
• Executes projects using project management concepts, requirements gathering and documentation, software development lifecycle and testing
• Collaborates effectively with business partners, project team, and senior management to develop solutions that facilitate the integration of business processes
• Recommends solutions based on an understanding of business requirements
• Provides technical leadership and mentorship within a broader team
• Other duties as assigned

Education/Years of Experience:

• Required: High school diploma/GED and a minimum of eight (8) years’ IT experience
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field and a minimum of ten (10) years’ IT experience, * Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
• Needs basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
