Senior Software Engineer - Java Streaming - Connectors

Experteer Overview In this role you will own the JVM-based data engineering integrations that connect ClickHouse to streaming and data ecosystem tools.You’ll maintain and extend core drivers, SDKs, and connectors that let developers use ClickHouse inside JVM applications at scale.You will collaborate with open-source communities and enterprise users to raise performance, reliability, and developer experience.This is a hands-on, impact-driven position shaping how data engineers harness ClickHouse for real-time analytics and large-scale workloads.Compensaciones / Beneficios * Own critical parts of the data engineering ecosystem and JVM integrations * Manage full lifecycle of data framework integrations-from core drivers to connectors and SDKs * Collaborate with OSS community, internal teams, and enterprise users to ensure performance and reliability * Develop and maintain production-grade streaming connectors and integration components * Optimize data throughput and scalability for large datasets and real-time workloads Responsabilidades * 6+ years of software development experience in data-intensive solutions * Strong experience with streaming/data integration frameworks (Kafka, Kafka Connect, Apache Flink, Apache Beam) * Experience building or extending connectors/sinks/sources for a streaming framework * Hands-on experience with distributed messaging systems (Kafka, Pulsar, Kinesis) * Solid understanding of SQL, data modeling, query optimization; OLAP/analytical databases familiarity * Proficiency in Java and JVM ecosystem, memory management, GC tuning, performance profiling * Concurrent programming in Java (threads, executors, async patterns) * Excellent written and verbal communication for cross-functional collaboration * Knowledge of JDBC, network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP), and data throughput optimization * Passion for open-source development Requisitos principales * Flexible, remote-friendly work environment across 25+ countries * Healthcare coverage * Equity/stock options * Flexible time off in most regions * USD 500 home office setup for remote employees * Global company gatherings
