Senior Cloud Software Engineer - Efficiency Engineering

Experteer Overview As a Cloud Infrastructure Software Engineer, you will design, deploy and maintain the scalable, fault-tolerant core of the ClickHouse Cloud data plane.You’ll build a cloud-native platform across public clouds, automate resource management, and optimize compute, storage, and networking.You’ll collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver high-performance, cost-efficient infrastructure for a multi-region, multi-cloud environment.Your work enables a reliable managed ClickHouse experience while advancing security, governance, and efficiency at scale.Compensaciones / Beneficios * Architect and build scalable, highly available distributed infrastructure * Develop a cloud-native platform on top of public clouds and automate cloud resource management * Drive infrastructure optimization across compute, storage, and networking * Collaborate with ClickHouse engineering teams to deliver reliable, cost-effective SaaS solutions * Improve cost efficiency through distributed systems best practices and tooling for insights Responsabilidades * 5+ years in software development building and operating scalable, distributed systems * Experience with Go, C/C++, Java or other OOP languages * Proficiency with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) * Experience developing cloud infrastructure services, preferably with Kubernetes * Experience with cloud-native edge or service mesh (Envoy, Istio) * Leading and delivering large technical projects with cross-functional teams * Understanding of network topologies, security principles (VPNs, firewalls, load balancers) * Knowledge of cloud security practices, encryption, access controls, and compliance standards (SOC2, GDPR) * Strong communication, problem-solving, production debugging skills * Thrives in fast-paced environments and values ownership and accountability Requisitos principales * Flexible work environment * Healthcare - employer contributions * Equity - stock options * Flexible time off * USD 500 home office setup * Global gatherings
