Technical Program Manager

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to support the delivery of complex software initiatives within a fast-paced, highly collaborative technology organization. This individual will serve as a key delivery leader, driving execution across front-end and back-end development teams while partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Technical Directors, and business stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has deep experience leading software delivery programs, excels in Agile/Scrum environments, and can successfully navigate shifting priorities, organizational change, and ambiguity. This role is focused on execution and delivery, not product ownership.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of software initiatives across multiple development teams and portfolios.

Drive Agile delivery practices, including sprint planning, backlog management, dependency tracking, risk mitigation, and release coordination.

Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineering Leaders, Technical Directors, and key business stakeholders to ensure successful program execution.

Facilitate communication across cross-functional teams while maintaining alignment to business priorities and delivery timelines.

Identify and remove impediments impacting delivery.

Manage complex dependencies across systems, applications, and technology teams.

Create transparency into program health, risks, milestones, and delivery metrics.

Support organizational and process transformation initiatives as teams continue to evolve Agile delivery practices.

Balance strategic planning with hands-on execution and day-to-day program leadership.

8+ years of Technical Program Management or Software Delivery Management experience.

Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle and experience managing software through planning, development, testing, release, and implementation.

Deep knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Experience supporting multiple software development teams or technical workstreams simultaneously.

Experience coordinating delivery across front-end and back-end development teams.

Strong program planning, scheduling, risk management, dependency management, and stakeholder communication skills.

Ability to understand technical conversations and translate delivery implications for stakeholders.

Strong executive-level and cross-functional stakeholder management skills. Telecommunications, technology, media, or large enterprise experience.

Experience supporting revenue-generating customer-facing platforms.

PMP certification.

Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).

Experience working within large, matrixed organizations undergoing transformation initiatives.

This is a 6-month contract opportunity with strong potential for extension and/or conversion and is onsite 4 days per week in Greenwood Village, CO The targeted compensation range is $50/hr - $55/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
