Job description

Were looking for an experienced Data Migration Engineer to join a large-scale Microsoft 365 transformation programme, supporting the migration of users, data, and collaboration services from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365.

This is a hands-on delivery role requiring strong technical expertise in enterprise data migrations, troubleshooting, scripting, and stakeholder collaboration. Youll play a key role in ensuring migration activities are delivered securely, accurately, and with minimal disruption to users., * Execute end-to-end migration activities including preparation, staging, batching, execution, validation, and reporting.

  • Support migration planning and coordination across multiple business units.
  • Troubleshoot migration issues, technical errors, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Work closely with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and infrastructure teams to resolve dependencies.
  • Perform functional and performance testing of migration tooling.
  • Maintain accurate records and audit trails of migration activities.
  • Conduct data quality and validation checks to ensure migration completeness.
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to support remediation, automation, and data cleansing activities.

Requirements

  • Extensive hands-on experience delivering large-scale data migration projects.
  • Strong experience with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 migrations.
  • Proven ability to set up, execute, monitor, and troubleshoot migration tools.
  • Strong PowerShell scripting skills.
  • Good understanding of data security and governance principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working within complex enterprise environments.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience with Cloudiway or similar migration platforms.
  • Background working within highly regulated environments.
  • Experience supporting large-scale cloud transformation programmes.
