Isp Data Migration Specialist/Application Support (Interim)

Ensure data is handled securely and in accordance with GDPR, information governance and Council policies. Follow relevant IT service management processes and contribute to continuous service improvement. Person Specification Must-Have Requirements Proven experience delivering large-scale or complex data migration projects. Strong knowledge of data migration and ETL methodologies. Advanced SQL skills, including data extraction, transformation and validation. Experience working with relational databases and large datasets. Experience in data profiling, cleansing, mapping, reconciliation and validation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret complex business rules and translate them into migration requirements. Experience producing data mapping, migration and technical documentation. Experience providing application support within an ICT or business systems environment. Knowledge of ITIL principles and IT service management processes. Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality. Understanding of GDPR, data governance and information security requirements. Relevant BTEC National Level qualification or equivalent experience in an ICT/business systems environment. Nice-to-Have Requirements Experience delivering data migration projects within Local Government or the NHS. Experience of Adult Social Care system migrations. Experience with one or more of the following systems: TPP SystmOne System C Liquidlogic LAS ContrOCC Mosaic Frameworki Other social care case management systems Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, SSIS or Azure Data Factory. Experience with Microsoft Fabric or other data migration tools. Advanced Microsoft Excel, Power Query, Power BI or Python skills. Experience working with Azure or cloud-hosted applications. Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, SharePoint, Teams or Microsoft 365. Knowledge of social care data standards, statutory reporting and regulatory requirements. Relevant degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management or a related technical discipline. Experience supervising specialist external technical consultants.
