Job description

Own end-to-end Solution Architecture across banking operations and servicing domains

Partner with business and technology teams to assess current processes and identify transformation opportunities

Design future-state solutions using AI, Generative AI, automation, workflow, APIs, business rules, RPA, and process redesign

Develop scalable, secure, cloud-native architectures using APIs, microservices, event-driven patterns, and automation platforms

Define integration patterns between operational systems, data platforms, and AI capabilities

Produce and maintain detailed solution architecture documentation and technical diagrams

Lead architecture reviews and guide solutions through governance and approval processes

Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security architecture, and technology standards

Collaborate with Enterprise, Security, Infrastructure, and Data Architects to develop compliant, holistic designs

Translate business outcomes and operational requirements into scalable technical solutions

Provide architectural guidance to engineering and delivery teams throughout implementation

Review technical designs, integrations, and implementation approaches to maintain architectural integrity

Support teams in resolving integration, performance, resiliency, and cross-domain challenges

Requirements

10+ years of Solution Architecture experience within banking or financial services

Strong domain knowledge across Deposits, Lending, Cards, Payments, Collections, or Customer Servicing

Experience designing solutions involving AI, Generative AI, Agentic AI, workflow automation, document intelligence, RPA, or process mining

Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, cloud platforms, and event-driven architecture

Experience owning end-to-end solution architecture for complex transformation and modernization initiatives

Ability to design scalable, secure, cloud-native solutions across operational systems and AI capabilities

Experience producing architecture artifacts, including Solution Architecture Documents, context diagrams, logical diagrams, integration diagrams, sequence diagrams, data flows, and Architecture Decision Records

Experience navigating architecture governance and obtaining approvals in highly regulated environments

Proven ability to partner with Business, Product, Engineering, Platform, Security, Infrastructure, Data, and Delivery teams

Strong communication, executive stakeholder management, and influencing skills

Ability to provide hands-on architectural guidance throughout the SDLC

Experience resolving cross-domain integration, performance, resiliency, and architectural challenges Experience with architecture modeling tools such as iServer

Understanding of model-driven architecture development

Experience defining architecture patterns, reference architectures, and domain standards

Background supporting banking technology operations and servicing environments

Experience modernizing workflows and redesigning business processes

Familiarity with business rules platforms and automation technologies

Experience improving customer and employee experiences through AI-enabled solutions
