SAP QM Consultant

About the OpportunityZipStaff is seeking an experienced SAP QM Consultant to support the manufacturing quality workstream for a global technology services firm’s manufacturing client engagement.This is a hands-on SAP Quality Management role focused on Usage Decision (UD) controls, batch release/transfer, and quality compliance - not a generic SAP support seat. You will standardize UD codes, tighten stock and shipping controls, and document manufacturing/quality processes. On-site in Clearwater, FL. What You’ll Do

• Lead manufacturing quality workstream tasks in SAP QM
• Harmonize Usage Decision (UD) codes and related stock-control processes across plants and business units
• Stabilize and enhance UD code validation for batches during interplant transfer and release
• Implement controls so only approved / released batches can ship
• Strengthen UD validation on shipping and transfer so unreleased, rejected, or noncompliant batches cannot move
• Identify, enable, and validate change-log functionality in Plant Maintenance and related workstreams
• Document GEP SAP processes for Manufacturing and Quality (governance, training, operational excellence)
• Improve quality compliance and inventory governance through batch-release enforcement

• 7+ years of hands-on SAP QM consulting / configuration experience
• Proven experience with Usage Decision (UD) codes, stock posting, and batch-status controls
• Experience in discrete, process, and/or repetitive manufacturing
• Hands-on work with batch transfer, interplant movement, and shipping release controls
• Ability to document SAP manufacturing / quality processes for governance and training
• Experience coordinating quality processes with inventory / warehouse and plant operations
• Ability to work on-site in Clearwater, FL
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

• Plant Maintenance (PM) change-log / audit-trail configuration
• Multi-plant / multi-business-unit QM harmonization
• Prior manufacturing-industry SAP rollout or stabilization work
• Exposure to GEP or similar global SAP process-governance programs
