IS Applications Epic Security Analyst - Remote

The Epic Security Analyst is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of Epic security, user, and provider records to ensure caregivers have appropriate access to perform their responsibilities while maintaining compliance with organizational, privacy, and regulatory requirements. This role manages role-based security provisioning, user and provider onboarding, data imports, record maintenance, and access governance activities across Epic environments. The analyst serves as a key resource for Epic deployment, implementation, acquisition, and optimization projects, partnering with clinical, operational, application, and project teams to support testing, go-live readiness, and ongoing operations. Additionally, the role collaborates with Identity and Access Management, the Service Desk, and other stakeholders to troubleshoot access issues, improve processes, enhance automation and efficiency, maintain data integrity, and deliver a high-quality customer experience. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Epic accreditation or certification (must be kept up to date) within 90 days of hire
• 4 years of Industry related experience., * Certifications in software applications, technology infrastructure, or clinical specializations upon hire.
• 3 years of Healthcare IS experience.
• Epic experience.
• Experience supporting Epic security, access management, provider records, or related healthcare information systems.
• Experience managing large volumes of data while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
• Knowledge of user provisioning, role-based security concepts, and access governance principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate’s placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
