Job description

The State of Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Software Programmer - Project Lead for a rebid posting of an incumbent role. The selected candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing complex software systems within a hybrid work environment. This is a leadership role with a strong emphasis on .NET development and database-driven architectures., * Independently design and implement medium to large-scale software systems using .NET architectures.

Lead the development of data-driven applications using N-tier architectures and relational databases.
Collaborate with project stakeholders, developers, and QA teams in an Agile environment.
Guide the successful design and implementation of multiple software components and subsystems.
Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code.

Requirements

Skill Experience Required .NET Software Design & Development 10+ years Data-driven Applications using MS SQL (N-tier architecture) 8+ years Software Component and Subsystem Design 8+ years, Child Welfare or Human Services System Experience Experience in SACWIS/CCWIS requirements and objectives is a plus Agile Development Hands-on experience working in Agile teams

Lumen and / or its clients will not provide equipment (Laptop, monitor, etc.) to the selected contractor. The contractor must have their own equipment. Access to a virtual desktop set up (software) will be provided by Lumen’s client, allowing the user access to the required systems and technology.
