IT Project Manager

Insight Global’s client is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join their team. This individual will oversee 2-3 concurrent projects, which may involve collaboration with infrastructure, application development, or networking teams to help with backlog. While this role isn’t solely focused on budgeting, the Project Manager will participate in budget-related discussions. There is no direct people management involved, but the ability to facilitate and lead conversations across 12-17 team members is essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are key. This person must be able to read the room, knowing when to push for clarity and when to step back to maintain team cohesion. This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days on-site required.

Day-to-Day

• Lead 2-3 concurrent, IT projects end-to-end - drive planning, execution, risk/issue management, and status reporting.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and waterfall planning as appropriate.

• Monitor scope, risks, dependencies, and critical path; ensure on-time delivery and high-quality outcomes.

• Coordinate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders.

Support budgeting conversations, vendor sourcing/management, and contract review when applicable.

• 5-7+ years managing IT projects (applications, infrastructure, networking), with full project lifecycle experience

• Ability to Lead 2-3 concurrent projects (Applications, Infrastructure, or networking)

• Articulate communicator with teams, stakeholders, and peers

• Proven experience orchestrating cross-functional teams of ~12-17

• Tools : Jira, Smartsheet, and Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio or similar tools)

• Waterfall & Agile SDLC experience ( hybrid environments)
