Applications Analyst

Essentia Health seeks an Applications Analyst II or III to support and optimize clinical and business applications across our integrated health system. In this role, you will gather requirements, configure and maintain healthcare software, troubleshoot complex issues, and coordinate upgrades and integrations. You will collaborate closely with clinicians and operational leaders to improve workflows, ensure data integrity, and enhance patient-centered care. • Gather and translate user requirements into system specifications and functional workflows
• Analyze application performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate timely resolutions with vendors and IT teams
• Develop, test, and implement system enhancements, integrations, and upgrades
• Create and maintain technical and user documentation, workflows, and configuration records
• Support end users with training, issue resolution, and best-practice use of applications
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies
• Participate in on-call support rotations and incident response for critical applications
• Collaborate with clinicians, administrators, and IT staff to improve processes and patient-centered outcomes
• Contribute to continuous improvement, standardization, and optimization of application portfolios
