Job description

The Prime Video Experience Design (PVXD) studio is seeking a customer-obsessed Sr. Product Designer to join our Growth design team. This role will be responsible for defining, articulating, and championing the future vision for how our customers rent, buy, and subscribe to the best entertainment content in their country. The right candidate leads with clarity and empathy, inspires others, and has a passion for solving problems at massive scale. You excel through innovation, creativity, and attention to detail. You are a proven strategic thinker and collaborator who flourishes in a large organization. You sincerely believe that design is more than how something looks, but also how it feels and functions. You enjoy great design debates and thrive on iterating based on customer feedback.

This role requires a designer with strong visual design skills who can elevate the craft and quality of our commerce surfaces. You bring a keen eye for typography, color, layout, motion, and visual hierarchy, and you apply that craft within the context of product design, ensuring our transactional experiences are not only intuitive but visually compelling across living room, mobile, web, and tablet surfaces in global markets. You are equally comfortable defining end-to-end interaction flows and delivering pixel-perfect, high-fidelity UI.

This role is for a hands-on designer who establishes a vision and strategy, scales their impact with proactive collaboration across cross-functional teams, and elevates the design quality of the entire team. You will develop strong relationships with fellow designers and partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Business counterparts throughout the organization to launch bar-raising experiences for customers around the world. As a creative lead, you have a passion for solving our customers’ problems, always putting their needs first., You will own the design of commerce experiences across Prime Video’s product surfaces, from early problem framing through high-fidelity, visually polished UI. Day to day, that means partnering with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to translate customer needs and business goals into clear interaction flows, wireframes, and detailed visual mockups that communicate both behaviour and craft. You will define and refine UI patterns, typography, iconography, color, and motion within our commerce surfaces, and contribute to scaling Prime Video’s visual design language across living room, mobile, web, and tablet in collaboration with the broader PVXD team. You will present and defend your work to stakeholders and senior leadership, and measure the impact of your solutions through data, research, and customer feedback.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of design experience
  • Have an available online portfolio
  • 5+ years of creating user flows, wire frames, mockups, generating assets and specifications for integration into digital products experience
  • Experience presenting designs and collaborating with all levels of the organization
  • Strong prototyping skills with the ability to create high-fidelity interactive prototypes that communicate design intent beyond static deliverables (using tools such as Figma prototyping, Claude Code, Kiro, Rive, or equivalent)
  • Partner with technology teams to ensure we leverage the scale offered by our platform without compromising on core experience principles.
  • Measure the success and effectiveness of design innovations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with UX design of complex workflows
  • Experience designing for entertainment, media, or content-rich consumer products across multiple platforms (mobile, web, TV/living room)
