Role summary: The Senior Manager, Data Science leads advanced analytical initiatives to drive business impact through innovative modeling, validation, and data visualization techniques. This role oversees the development and deployment of scalable machine learning solutions, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Collaborating across functions, the position translates complex data into actionable insights, guiding decision-making and mentoring team members. About the team: The team leverages advanced analytical and modeling techniques to address complex business challenges. Utilizing Python, SQL, and machine learning frameworks, members focus on model assessment, validation, and deployment. They collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable insights and data-driven solutions. Emphasizing rigorous statistical methods and clear data visualization, the team ensures effective communication of findings. Committed to continuous learning and innovation, they follow best practices and emerging technologies to deliver impactful results aligned with organizational goals. What you’ll do:

  • Lead the development, assessment, and validation of advanced analytical models using best practices to ensure accuracy, robustness, and business relevance.
  • Design and implement data visualization solutions that effectively communicate complex insights to stakeholders and support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable data science projects aligned with strategic goals.
  • Guide and mentor team members on advanced modeling techniques, feature engineering, and data storytelling.
  • Oversee model deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement to maintain performance at scale.
  • Drive data source identification, quality assessment, and integration to support analytical initiatives.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in data science and advanced machine learning techniques, including model assessment, validation, and tuning.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL for data analysis, model development, and deployment.
  • Strong expertise in data visualization tools and best practices to effectively communicate complex data insights.
  • In-depth understanding of business context across multiple domains to translate requirements into actionable data solutions.
  • Proven leadership skills in mentoring and guiding teams on advanced modeling and feature engineering.
  • Ability to develop scalable models and monitor performance in production environments.
  • Solid knowledge of statistical methods, exploratory data analysis, and optimization techniques., Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position. If none are listed, there are no minimum qualifications.

Option 1: Bachelors degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 5 years’ experience in an analytics related field. Option 2: Masters degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 3 years’ experience in an analytics related field. Option 3: 7 years’ experience in an analytics or related field.
