Software Developer

This position is for a Software Developer within the Information Technology Division, initially onsite in Phoenix for four months followed by a remote work arrangement. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and database solutions using technologies such as SQL Server, ASP.NET, C#, and Azure services. The developer will support production systems, resolve issues, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions. Responsibilities:

• Design and develop web applications according to functional and technical specifications.
• Write stored procedures, queries, and generate SSRS reports.
• Support production systems by analyzing and resolving issues promptly.
• Debug and fix defects in applications and development environments.
• Complete unit and system testing to ensure quality deliverables.
• Prepare technical documentation including specifications, use cases, test cases, and system documentation.
• Engage with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and contribute to functional specifications.

• 3-5 years of experience working with SQL Server, SQL, and SSMS.
• Proficiency in ASP.NET, C#, and Visual Studio.
• Ability to write stored procedures and complex queries.
• Experience with Azure Database, Azure Storage, GitHub, and Azure App Services.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices.
• Successful completion of background checks and drug screenings (HireRight).
• Must be authorized to work in Phoenix, Arizona.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience generating SSRS reports.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Additional certifications related to Microsoft Azure or software development.

• Onsite work required in Phoenix for the first four months of the contract.
• Must be available for in-person interviews within one week of posting close date.
• Must be able to start within two weeks of receiving an offer.
• Contract to hire position with a maximum bill rate and markup limits strictly enforced.

Scheduling:

• Full-time position with a 4-month initial contract period.
• Work onsite in Phoenix for the first 4 months, then remote thereafter.
