Job description

You will:

  • Analyse customer and user journeys to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimisation.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to understand product usage, engagement, and conversion behaviour.
  • Develop predictive models, including churn prediction, engagement scoring, demand forecasting, and propensity modelling.
  • Build customer segments and behavioural cohorts to support product, marketing, and customer success initiatives.
  • Translate business questions into structured analytical approaches and actionable recommendations.
  • Partner closely with engineering and data teams to define metrics and improve data models.
  • Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPI frameworks for business stakeholders.
  • Communicate complex analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Support the adoption of data-driven decision making across the organisation

Requirements

Are you a commercially minded Product Data Scientist who enjoys turning complex data into actionable insights? You’ll have the chance to work across analytics, machine learning, customer journey analysis, and stakeholder engagement while influencing key business decisions., * Strong commercial experience as a Data Scientist, Product Data Scientist, Product Analyst, or similar analytics professional.

  • Advanced SQL skills and experience working with cloud-based data warehouse environments.
  • Strong Python or R capabilities for data analysis, statistical modelling, and machine learning.
  • Experience building predictive models and applying analytical techniques to solve business problems.
  • Understanding of customer journey analysis, funnel optimisation, retention analysis, and customer lifetime value metrics.
  • Experience creating dashboards and visualisations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar.
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders, gather requirements, and translate business needs into analytical solutions.
  • Experience working with modern data platforms and analytics engineering environments is beneficial.
