Job description

You’ll play a key role in protecting our members, colleagues and services while enabling the safe adoption of emerging AI technology. Reporting to the Senior IT Security Manager, you’ll assess AI-related risk, shape practical security controls and governance, review AI-enabled solutions and tackle complex security challenges with colleagues and trusted partners.

Requirements

  • Experience in a Cloud SaaS/PaaS security engineering role, ideally in financial services or another regulated sector.
  • Hands-on experience assessing the security, privacy and operational risks of generative AI, LLMs and AI-enabled solutions in a change environment.
  • Knowledge of emerging AI security frameworks and standards, including NIST AI RMF, the OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications, MITRE ATLAS and ISO 42001.
  • The judgement to balance innovation with security, regulatory compliance and operational resilience.
  • Clear communication skills and confidence explaining technical issues to non-technical audiences of all levels.
  • A collaborative approach, with the ability to work independently and coordinate expertise when needed.
  • Recognised IT or information security qualifications such as CISSP, CISM, Microsoft AI-500, SANS, TAISE, CCSP or CCSK
  • We’d also value experience across some of the following Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Foundry environments.
