Job description

Join our team as a System Engineer in Limburg, within the automotive sector, and start a new adventure in an international and dynamic environment, where you will be able to fulfil your career expectations in a fast-growing organization., * Support serial life and continuous improvement activities for e-drive systems in the automotive sector

  • Coordinate and contribute to structured issue analysis for field returns, warranty, and plant or 0-km system failures
  • Perform or support analysis based on CAN/LIN traces, motor/inverter behavior, and performance indicators (torque, current, speed, efficiency, control behavior)
  • Coordinate system analysis activities involving mechanical integration engineers, e-machine experts, inverter and power electronics experts, software calibration and controls teams, validation and functional safety, and simulation experts
  • Support requirement updates and homologation impacts related to Euro 7 regulations
  • Drive or support 8D/Six Sigma problem-solving workshops
  • Coordinate and monitor system requirements and traceability (Polarion)

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in system engineering for mechatronic automotive systems
  • Experience with electric machine systems, power electronics, and controls
  • Experience in signal and data analysis (dynamic behavior, inverter parameters, calibration effects)
  • Experience with validation and system debugging in bench or vehicle environments
  • Experience with requirements management platforms: Polarion (DOORS is a plus)
  • Experience with CAN analysis tools: Vector CANalyzer/CANoe, Canapee
  • Academic background: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering or similar
  • English fluent. French, Dutch, and Italian are assets.
  • You demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams in a complex environment
