Are you an experienced WinDev developer who wants to make a difference? In this independent role, you’ll work on the development, optimization, and future-oriented expansion of a business-critical software solution. You’ll combine the maintenance of existing applications with innovative projects and contribute to the further digitization of the sector., Maintenance and Optimization

• Manage and maintain an extensive existing codebase.
• Optimizing existing procedures and application performance.
• Identifying and removing outdated features and code.
• Solving complex technical problems
• Documenting developments, changes, and technical solutions.

Software development and expansion

• Developing, modifying, and expanding existing applications in WinDev.
• Designing and building new features based on customer needs.
• Developing new modules to support the continued growth of the software platform.
• Conducting technical analyses and translating functional requirements into efficient solutions.
• Writing high-quality, maintainable, and high-performance code.

Legislation, Compliance, and Digitalization

• Implementing software updates in response to changes in legislation.
• Ensure timely implementation within the required legal deadlines.
• Integrating new security, digitization, and compliance requirements.
• Actively contributing to further digitization

Innovation and forward-looking projects

• Contribute ideas on the future development of the software platform.
• Contribute to the preparation of a future migration to a web application.
• Exploring technical improvements and modernization options.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify new opportunities and drive innovation.

Do you have experience in Software development?, Do you have a Master’s degree?, * You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, software development, or equivalent experience.

• You have proven experience in software development.
• Experience with WinDev is an absolute must
• Experience in web application development is a significant asset, particularly with a view to future modernization projects.

Technical knowledge

• Excellent knowledge of Windev
• Knowledge of databases and software architecture.
• Understanding of software maintenance, debugging, and performance optimization.
• An affinity for web technologies and modern application development is a plus.
• Good knowledge of French, as the programming code and technical documentation are largely written in French.
