Job description
The Senior Software Engineer will be central to designing and building .NET APIs that connect a wide range of systems across engineering and operational functions, from aerodynamics tooling to real-time performance data. You will collaborate closely with specialist engineers and product stakeholders to translate complex user needs into clean, scalable software solutions. The team works across a varied technology estate - including C#, TypeScript, React, Python, and cloud-native services - and is actively modernising its platforms, giving you genuine scope to influence how things are built going forward.
Requirements
- Solid commercial development experience in C# and TypeScript, with the ability to design and build robust APIs and backend services that integrate multiple systems
- Familiarity with source control and software process tooling such as Git and Azure DevOps, alongside a strong grasp of software design patterns and architecture
- A collaborative, pragmatic approach to problem-solving - including the ability to communicate technical thinking clearly to non-technical colleagues and specialist engineering users
- Experience with or exposure to containerisation, cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, or engineering-adjacent domains such as PLM software, Dynamics 365, aerodynamics, or simulation tooling is a strong advantage, * Amazon Web Services (AWS)
