Job description

We are seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer with 5-7+ years of experience to join our team supporting cloud-based drilling and well reporting applications. This role will focus primarily on building and maintaining scalable backend services and cloud solutions that generate and deliver critical post-drill reports and deliverables to customers. The engineer will work within an Agile team to design, develop, test, and support modern microservices and web applications hosted in Microsoft Azure, while collaborating closely with software engineers, product stakeholders, and domain experts. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong individual contributor who is interested in growing into a future technical leadership role.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong experience with C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core
  • Experience designing, developing, and supporting REST APIs and microservices
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying applications in Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with Node.js and cloud-based application development
  • Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, Moq, or Playwright
  • Strong understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, and Agile Development
  • Experience troubleshooting, debugging, and supporting production applications
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
  • Experience working in Agile development environments
  • Interest in mentorship, technical leadership, or future team lead responsibilities while remaining a hands-on engineer - Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/AKS.
  • Familiarity with application logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Basic drilling, rig systems, or energy-industry domain knowledge is a plus.
