Job description

Because video and web technologies are quickly evolving and because we want to offer a constantly improving platform we are currently looking for a m/f Web Development Engineer.

Your tasks

You will design, develop and maintain our webcasting software tool:

architecture and planning of new features and releases
coding of the infrastructure (based on functional & technical briefs)
coding of new functionalities (based on functional & technical briefs)
coding of APIs
testing on all browsers and implementation of the upgrades to all existing accounts
regular handling and maintenance of databases and servers

As web development engineer, you will be part of our R&D department and, based on marketing & commercial department requests, you will perform technical analysis & tests to suggest the best way to implement new features.

Requirements

You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Information Technology or similar experience
Advanced knowledge of PHP (Zend and/or Symphony framework), MySQL, HTML5, CSS
Knowledge of webservices is a must
Knowledge of Linux server maintenance (Debian) is a plus
Previous experience of Video management tools is a plus
You are a true team player. You can rely on strong analytical skills and are a quick learner.
You are able to communicate fluently in Dutch and/or French + English.
