Job description
- Provide Tier II and Tier III support for end users, business applications, and infrastructure systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated hardware, software, operating system, and network issues.
- Administer and maintain Windows Server environments.
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, user accounts, permissions, and security groups.
- Support Microsoft 365, Exchange, Teams, and related collaboration tools.
- Assist with server maintenance, upgrades, and patch management.
- Support virtualization platforms including VMware and Hyper-V.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and health.
- Manage DNS, DHCP, file shares, print services, and network connectivity issues.
- Assist with backup and disaster recovery processes.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Participate in infrastructure projects and technology improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a Tier II/Tier III Support, Desktop Support, or Systems Administration role.
- Experience supporting Windows 10/11 and Windows Server environments.
- Strong knowledge of: Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP Networking, Microsoft 365.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Experience administering user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Familiarity with VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualization technologies.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple support requests.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Exchange environments.
- Experience with endpoint management solutions.
- Familiarity with backup solutions such as Veeam.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
- Relevant certifications such as: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Fundamentals or Associate Certifications.
