NOMAD Mainframe SME / Administrator

Serve as the primary SME for the NOMAD Fourth Generation Language (4GL) environment.

Administer, configure, maintain, and upgrade the NOMAD platform.

Support developers utilizing NOMAD for application development and data access.

Collaborate with mainframe systems teams on platform stability, performance, and maintenance activities.

Troubleshoot and resolve NOMAD-related application and infrastructure issues.

Evaluate platform architecture and provide recommendations for modernization or migration strategies.

Assist with potential migration efforts from NOMAD to alternative technologies.

Document processes, standards, and operational procedures.

Deep expertise with NOMAD (Select Business Solutions)

Mainframe Administration and Support

z/VM Environment Experience

Mainframe Data Technologies:

oDB2/MVS, Performance Tuning and Troubleshooting

Mainframe Upgrade and Implementation Experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience serving as a technical lead or SME within large enterprise mainframe environments.

Experience leading or supporting legacy application modernization initiatives.

Strong communication skills with the ability to work across development and infrastructure teams.

Experience planning and executing migrations from legacy mainframe tools and applications.
