Job description

Framework Development: Design, build, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Python and Playwright for end-to-end (E2E) UI and workflow validation.

Automate complex test scenarios covering web and client-side desktop applications, APIs, and backend services.

Embed automated test suites into deployment pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) to run continuous regression and integration tests.

Optimize test scripts for speed, reusability, and cross-browser or cross-platform compatibility

Work with product managers, developers, and QA leads to define acceptance criteria, analyze pipeline test results, and quickly debug failures

Requirements

Experienced QA Automation Engineer with 5-7 years of hands-on expertise in test automation, quality assurance, and software testing across web and Desktop applications. Proficient in designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks using Playwright and Python , with strong capabilities in Desktop application testing, · Strong hands-on coding proficiency in Python (scripting, object-oriented principles, and data handling).

· Proven experience with Playwright (preferred for modern web/desktop interactions) alongside familiarity with tools like PyTest or Selenium.

· Solid background in UI automation, functional testing, regression testing, and REST API validation (Postman, Requests).

· Experience with Git for version control and containerization/cloud basics like Docker or Azure/AWS.y.

· Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum development cycles and defect-tracking tools like Jira.
