DevOps Engineer

o Build infrastructure and tooling to test, release, deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot firmware. o Manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes. o Own CI/CD and production firmware-deployment pipelines. o Develop platform services and automation using Python and Golang. o Support connected controllers across commercial battery sites and production factories. o Establish monitoring, alerting, incident-response, and reliability practices. o Automate the setup and ongoing management of new customer sites. o Troubleshoot issues across firmware, cloud infrastructure, networking, and connected hardware. o Partner with Firmware, Systems, Manufacturing, and Site Operations teams. o Provide technical leadership and help grow the team over time.

o 5+ years of firmware-platform, DevOps, SRE, or cloud-infrastructure experience. o Experience supporting the build, release, deployment, or operation of firmware and connected devices. o Strong production experience with Kubernetes. o Strong experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code. o Experience building and managing production CI/CD pipelines. o AWS cloud-infrastructure experience. o Strong Python and/or Golang development experience. o Experience operating highly available production systems. o Monitoring, observability, incident-response, and root-cause-analysis experience. o Strong technical leadership with a willingness to remain hands-on. o Ability to work onsite in Berkeley
