Full Stack Developer

• Build and maintain integrations with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS/Fargate, DynamoDB, Athena, Glue, Redshift, API Gateway, CloudWatch, S3, IAM, and event-driven services.
• Create secure back-end services, APIs, and data processing components that support Cloud Explorer features.
• Optimize architecture for cost, performance, reliability, security, and operational simplicity.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation where appropriate.

Front-End Engineering

• Develop modern, responsive user experiences using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Build dashboards, reports, self-service workflows, budget views, optimization views, and application-level cloud spend experiences.
• Create reusable components and patterns that improve consistency, maintainability, and speed of delivery.
• Partner with FinOps, Finance, Cloud Architecture, and application teams to convert requirements into clear user experiences.

AI & Intelligent Automation

• Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar tools to accelerate delivery responsibly.
• Help design and build AI-powered features such as FinOps chatbots, recommendation engines, anomaly insights, and guided optimization workflows.
• Integrate with LLM or generative AI services, including cloud-based AI services such as Amazon Bedrock where appropriate.
• Apply prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation concepts, and AI agent design patterns to deliver practical business value.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual FinOps processes, optimization assessments, and remediation workflows.

Data Engineering & Analytics

• Develop and optimize SQL queries, data pipelines, and reporting logic for cloud cost and usage data.
• Work with billing, usage, tagging, chargeback, budget, forecast, and operational telemetry datasets.
• Support analytics for AWS CUR, FOCUS-style reporting, application-level spend, optimization savings, and multi-cloud expansion.
• Ensure data quality, traceability, and performance for daily platform updates and recurring reporting needs.

DevOps, Quality & Security

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Implement automated testing, linting, code quality checks, and secure development practices.
• Improve observability through logging, monitoring, alerting, and operational dashboards.
• Partner with security, DevSecOps, and platform teams to ensure compliance with enterprise standards.

Collaboration & Technical Leadership

• Participate in solution design, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and architecture discussions.
• Communicate technical tradeoffs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentor less experienced developers and promote practical engineering standards.

Prefer local or someone in South Florida who could occasionally work onsite but good with 100% remote for a great resource as long as it’s an EST resource or maybe CST

Strong developer in React/Typescript in an AWS environment with any AI-assisted tools (Windsurf,Claude,GitHub Copilot, etc)

• Software Engineering: 5+ years of hands-on software development experience building production applications.
• AWS Experience: 3+ years of hands-on AWS engineering experience with serverless, containerized, and data-oriented services.
• Front-End Skills: Strong React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS experience.
• Back-End/API Skills: Experience building REST APIs, microservices, event-driven services, and integration layers.
• Data Skills: Strong SQL skills with experience analysing large operational or financial datasets.
