Operational Support Engineer with AWS Expertise

We are seeking an experienced Operational Support Engineer with AWS expertise to provide customer-facing setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and operational support for enterprise applications and data workflows.

This role requires a strong data/database background, excellent customer support skills, and the ability to troubleshoot Python and Java-based applications from a support perspective. Experience required: Strong data/database background, including SQL, relational databases, data validation, and data troubleshooting. Experience resolving data issues such as missing/incorrect data, access problems, refresh failures, and data inconsistencies. Understanding of data movement, refresh, validation, environment readiness, secure data handling, masking, and controlled non-production data usage. Excellent customer support experience, including helping users with setup, configuration, access, and technical troubleshooting. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical users. Strong ownership and follow-through, including managing customer issues from intake through resolution. Experience troubleshooting Python and Java applications from an operational support perspective, including logs, errors, configuration files, and API responses. Experience supporting applications hosted on AWS services such as S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, ECS, or similar technologies. Working knowledge of DevOps, release management, CI/CD processes, Terraform, GitLab, and AWS-native pipelines from a support perspective. Familiarity with RESTful APIs, cloud security practices, incident management, root cause analysis, and operational documentation.
