Configuration/System Change Manager (Software/Systems)

• Ensure an accurate and compliant Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
• Manage and maintain the System Change Request (SCR) database.
• Lead bi-weekly meetings to review and approve system changes., * Improve and lead the configuration management processes for effective control and capture of configuration changes.
• Maintain an accurate and compliant CMDB or PDM, reflecting “as-configured state” and historical configurations.
• Conduct baseline identification, change control, status accounting, and configuration reviews.
• Maintain and execute comprehensive change implementation plans, including validation steps, escalation plans, and rollback methods.
• Oversee the SCR database and bi-weekly Configuration Control Board (CCB) and Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings.
• Manage SCRs through the entire change process and lead CCB meetings for reviewing change requests.
• Administer program CCB and Technical Review Board (TRB) meetings.
• Ensure standardized methods, processes, and procedures for handling changes.
• Deliver weekly status reports on planned/unplanned changes.
• Inform program leadership of discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Recommend policy changes and establish procedures.
• Evaluate CM tools and recommend the best options.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field is required or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience., Current or active Department of Defense Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required with ability to obtain a Polygraph is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required., * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

• Proven experience in configuration/change management and continuous improvement.

• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to evaluate and recommend the best Configuration Management (CM) tools., * Exceptional organizational and documentation skills with great attention to detail.
• Ability to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
• Team player who thrives in collaborative environments.
• ITIL Certification is desired.
• Advanced understanding of Software Configuration Management (SCM) builds, third-party software management, and PDM applications.
• Agile SCRUM Master certification is desired.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Certification in Configuration Management (e.g., CMII) is desired.

Target salary range: USD $101,357.00/Yr. - USD $109,672.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
