Mid-Level Software Engineer - Backend / integrations

Client is looking for a Mid-Level Software Engineer with 2 5 years of experience to build and maintain production-grade integrations and data pipelines for the AI platform for construction capital program owners. The person should be a strong Python engineer with real, hands-on integration experience: making API calls at scale, handling rate limits, async processes, retries, and orchestration tools like Prefect, Dagster, Step Functions, or Airflow. This is a role for a self-starter who is excited to roll up their sleeves, maintain and support critical pipelines, and grow into designing systems over time. They would join a lean, AI-native team of 20 that has increased engineering output 4 5x and is backed by $7.7M in seed funding from top-tier investors.
