Senior SAP MM and Inventory Management

Insight Global is seeking a Senior SAP Source-to-Pay and Inventory Management specialist to lead the design, configuration, implementation, and ongoing support of SAP ECC solutions across procurement, materials management, inventory management, and related supply-chain processes.

This person will work closely with procurement, supply chain, finance, inventory, stockroom, operations, and IT stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions. The role will help improve purchasing, supplier collaboration, receiving, inventory accuracy, goods movement, stockroom processes, and overall operational performance.

The Analyst will lead the Source-to-Pay workstream during SAP implementations, upgrades, rollouts, enhancements, and production-support initiatives. Responsibilities will include fit-gap analysis, process design, SAP configuration, functional specifications, testing, defect resolution, data migration support, cutover, go-live, hypercare, documentation, and end-user training.

The ideal candidate will have deep functional SAP MM experience rather than only high-level project exposure. They should be able to explain how they personally configured procurement and inventory processes, handled cross-functional integrations, resolved complex production issues, and supported full implementation lifecycles.

Salary $115-$125k

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 10+ years of SAP functional experience across SAP MM, Source-to-Pay, Inventory Management, and Stockroom Management.

• Strong hands-on configuration experience within SAP MM and end-to-end Source-to-Pay processes.

• Experience with direct and indirect procurement, inventory management, stockroom processes, purchasing, and goods movements.

• Experience completing at least three full SAP implementations or major rollout projects.

• Experience may include Greenfield, Brownfield, or Bluefield implementations.

• Strong knowledge of physical inventory, stock transfers, movement types, batch management, serial management, and procurement master data.

• Experience gathering business requirements and developing detailed SAP functional specifications.

• Strong cross-functional knowledge of SAP logistics and accounting integrations.

• Experience supporting testing, cutover, go-live, hypercare, and post-production stabilization. Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with subcontracting and outside processing.

• Experience with intercompany processes, account determination, and Accounts Payable integration.

• Knowledge of SAP FI/CO, SD, PP, QM, EWM, Ariba, 3PL, and third-party system integrations.

• Experience with classification, batch management, serialization, EDI, B2B, B2C, APIs, or middleware.

• Experience collaborating with ABAP development and technical integration teams.

• Experience with data migration.

• Experience using ServiceNow or a similar ticketing system.

• Experience working in a global, matrixed engineering or manufacturing organization.

• Background in manufacturing, industrial products, distribution, aerospace, or another engineering-driven environment.
