Curate, validate, and maintain chemical structure data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability across research and scientific platforms. Perform structure standardization activities including salt/solvent handling, stereochemistry review, tautomer normalization, and duplicate identification. Design, develop, and support Python-based applications, APIs, and automated workflows for chemistry data processing and management. Utilize cheminformatics tools such as RDKit, ChemAxon, or equivalent platforms for molecular analysis, structure processing, and data quality improvement. Collaborate with chemists, data scientists, and informatics teams to resolve data quality issues and deliver scalable scientific solutions. Build and maintain automated pipelines for compound registration, structure validation, molecular data management, and integration with scientific databases and enterprise systems.

Master’s degree or PhD in Chemistry, Cheminformatics, Computational Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Computer Science (with substantial chemistry experience), or a related field. 5+ years of professional experience in Python development, cheminformatics, chemical structure curation, or molecular data management. Hands-on experience with chemical structure standardization, compound registration, molecular data quality management, and cheminformatics platforms such as RDKit, ChemAxon, or equivalent tools. Strong expertise in developing Python-based automation, scientific data pipelines, APIs, and workflow solutions within pharmaceutical, life sciences, or scientific research environments.
