Job description

The Database Administrator will be responsible for creating and maintaining databases, providing support for SQL database development, and ensuring database security standards are upheld. They will work with vendors to design and configure complex databases, as well as collaborate with system administration staff to optimize database performance., * Create and maintain Oracle Databases, and provide recommendations for database improvements.

Develop and support SQL Databases, including creating and updating SQL Server Infrastructure.
Collaborate with vendors to design and configure large, complex databases with replication and high availability.
Work on application, data, and execution architectures, and provide input into overall development/implementation plans.
Manage large tables, maintain schemas, and develop queries and utilities to assist users.
Perform system analysis, identify technical solutions, and conduct database tuning.
Install upgrades and patches to existing databases, and perform database tuning and capacity planning.
Work closely with system administration staff to optimize database performance.

Requirements

Minimum of 6 years of experience with SQL 2016/2019/2022 database management and related products.
Experience with Microsoft products including PowerShell, Windows Server operating systems.
Advanced SQL query skills and experience with SSRS and SSIS-2016/2019/2022 packages.
Knowledge of Always on High Availability configuration, performance tuning, replication, and database capacity planning.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and cloud services like AWS and Microsoft Azure.
Familiarity with Linux and Windows Server environments.
