Network Engineer

• Provide post-sales implementation support for enterprise network solutions, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
• Design and deploy complex network infrastructures involving routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and data center technologies.
• Develop implementation plans, perform equipment staging, create configurations, and execute end-to-end network deployments across geographically distributed environments.
• Configure and support LAN, WAN, WLAN, DMZ, and DDI environments while ensuring adherence to change management procedures.
• Troubleshoot routing, switching, and connectivity issues involving BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, route aggregation, and subnetting technologies.
• Coordinate with project managers, Smart Hands teams, carriers, ISPs, vendors, and customer stakeholders to deliver projects successfully.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, network diagrams, implementation records, and configuration standards.
• Support data center networking environments including Cisco Nexus, Spine-Leaf architectures, Cisco ACI, and Arista CLOS solutions.
• Perform root cause analysis, issue resolution, escalation management, and service improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve deployment methodologies, automate processes, and enhance overall customer experience.
• Ensure projects meet established SLAs, KPIs, quality standards, and customer satisfaction objectives.

• 5+ years of network deployment engineering experience with solution design, implementation, and client requirements analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent, relevant experience.
• Experience with change management, requirements gathering, technical documentation, and deployment standards.
• Hands-on post-sales network deployment experience including staging, configuration, testing, and implementation.
• Advanced networking knowledge of LAN/WAN/WLAN, cabling, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, Cisco Nexus, Spine-Leaf, Cisco ACI, and Arista CLOS.
• Proficient with MS Office, Outlook, SharePoint, ERP systems, and cloud-based service delivery tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA),[MD3] [MD4] Arista ACE or related certifications
• Strong data center experience supporting routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, DMZ, and DDI environments.

Pay Range*: $40 - $50/hr.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
