Senior AI Architect w/ Active Top Secret or DHS Clearance - InDe

InDev is seeking a hands-on Senior AI Architect responsible for imagining, designing, building, and deploying innovative solutions that support mission outcomes across the homeland security market. In this role you will bridge the gap between Software-As-A-Service (SaaS) platforms and modern Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions, through operational requirements, enterprise architecture designs, and delivering solutions that are secure, scalable, and aligned with the homeland security mission. The ideal candidate will be looking for the freedom to shape their own creative playground and supercharge their impact in the industry., * Implementation Leader - Designing, building, and deploying multi-agent AI systems, powerful chatbots, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) models.

• Technical Demonstrator - Building POCs and prototypes that validate solutions and showcase how specific technologies can address real customer challenges.
• System Integrator - Writing robust, scalable code and develop APIs to weave AI capabilities into existing backend services and frontend user interfaces
• Architectural Expert - Creating logical and physical architecture, designing new patterns, and developing methodologies that solve complex technical challenges for AI solutions.
• Technical Advisor - Analyzing business requirements and designing and documenting architectural alternatives, technology choices and recommendations.
• Technical Mentor - Sharing knowledge with teams, guiding growth and learning of AI solutions, and helping stakeholders understand the implications of architectural decisions.
• Strategic Planner - Developing technical roadmaps; Evaluating, rationalizing and selecting technologies required for putting together the full stack of an AI platform or AI system.
• Cross-Functional Collaborator - Bridging the gap between business and technical teams, customers and product teams, aligning diverse stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline or a minimum of three (5) years relevant specialized experience in advanced backend and ML development
• 10+ years of management and/or development/architecture experience
• Experience designing and implementing scaled Agentic AI and Generative AI solutions
• Understanding of key AI technologies from public cloud providers, open source and 3rd party technologies
• Experience with LLMs, preferable Google Gemini
• Experience with infrastructure and cloud platforms (Docker, Kubernetes and AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
• Experience with Python, alongside C++, C#, or Java
• Experience with AI frameworks (PyTorch, LangGraph, CrewAI, or similar)
• Ability to identify high-impact AI use cases and translate them into technical requirements
• Experience supporting federal enterprise programs, with emphasis on governance and compliance
• Strong communication skills to interact with technical teams and government stakeholders

NICE TO HAVES

• Experience in integrating AI solutions with SaaS/PaaS platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Salesforce, etc.)
• Experience with Section 508, FISMA, and FedRAMP requirements
