Job description

· Support CAN/LIN system development activities at project level, ensuring consistency between system requirements, communication interfaces, and vehicle network implementation · Work closely with AEES and E/E Architecture on CAN/LIN-related topics, providing detailed technical analysis and supporting architecture-level decisions · Validate requests for creation, modification, or use of CAN/LIN parameters together with AEES/AEEA and relevant system stakeholders · Integrate new or modified communication parameters according to applicable CAN/LIN rules, AUTOSAR constraints, and defined development processes · Define and maintain CAN/LIN messages, signals, and communication interfaces, ensuring consistency with system and ECU requirements · Prepare, maintain, and deliver CAN/LIN communication files and specifications, including MSRS, DBC, ARXML, and LDF · Support ECU communication integration and monitor CAN/LIN communication maturity throughout project development · Perform or support CAN/LIN hardware and network testing and contribute to root-cause analysis in case of abnormal network behaviour · Analyse communication traces, network issues, and interface inconsistencies in coordination with System, ECU, Software, and Validation teams · Define the CAN ZT resistor distribution strategy according to applicable network rules and coordinate architecture impacts with AEES/AEEA · Support communication-related change impact analysis, technical reviews, validation activities, and project convergence

Requirements

· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering, automotive engineering, mechatronics, embedded systems, system engineering, or a related field; · Professional experience in automotive E/E, vehicle communication, ECU integration, or system engineering development; · Solid knowledge of CAN and LIN communication protocols and associated automotive standards; · Experience with CAN/LIN message and signal definition and automotive communication interfaces; · Knowledge of AUTOSAR communication concepts and constraints; · Experience with CAN/LIN network analysis, troubleshooting, and communication trace interpretation; · Structured and analytical approach to technical problem-solving; · Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across System, E/E Architecture, Software, Validation, and ECU engineering teams; · Good written and spoken English., · Strong understanding of CAN/LIN network architecture, messages, signals, timing, and ECU communication interfaces; · Experience with automotive communication databases and formats such as DBC, ARXML, and LDF; · Knowledge of CAN/LIN network integration, validation, and abnormal network behaviour analysis; · Familiarity with system engineering principles, requirements management, interface management, and change impact analysis; · Experience with Prevision is an advantage; · Experience with OEM-specific automotive messaging processes is a plus.
