Job description
- Lead and govern ITIL processes, particularly in IT Asset and Configuration Management, overseeing policies, procedures, and asset lifecycle management.
- Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives by identifying, evaluating, and managing appropriate tools and techniques for service configuration.
- Collaborate with IT Security to ensure all processes and tools meet best practice, security, compliance, and audit standards.
- Utilize Service Level Management (SLM) and data analysis to identify operational improvements and present key metrics to stakeholders.
- Provide essential support for core IT Service Management functions, including Change, Problem, Incident, and Major Incident Management.
- Support relevant Business As Usual (BAU) projects within the Service Delivery function.
Requirements
- Experienced in an existing Service Delivery or Service Support role, with a clear focus on IT Asset, Service Configuration, and Service Level Management.
- Preferably, skilled in one or more ITSM practices, including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, or Knowledge Management.
- Equipped with a good understanding of the ITIL framework (relevant qualifications are desirable).
- Possessing Project Management skills (desirable).
- An excellent written and verbal communicator.
- Able to develop internal stakeholder relationships and work collaboratively across wider teams.
- Capable of prioritising conflicting demands, working under pressure, and delivering high-quality, accurate tasks with strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, with strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and think beyond your day-to-day remit.
