Microsoft Dynamics 365 SCM Specialist

Insight Global is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (SCM) Specialist to support a leading chemical manufacturing client. This position will be a contract-to-hire opportunity and can sit remotely for the right candidate working EST hours., This individual will be hands-on Dynamics 365 SCM professional to support, enhance, and optimize an established D365 Supply Chain Management environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep functional expertise within D365 SCM, experience supporting manufacturing and supply chain business processes, and working knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, specifically Power Automate. This individual will partner closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external support partners to drive continuous improvement initiatives, troubleshoot system issues, and support future automation and AI-enabled capabilities within the Microsoft ecosystem., Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management

• Support, maintain, and optimize the existing Dynamics 365 SCM environment.

• Troubleshoot functional issues and support ongoing business process improvements.

• Partner with stakeholders to identify enhancement opportunities and implement solutions.

• Provide functional expertise across procurement, inventory, planning, logistics, and order fulfillment processes.

Power Platform & Automation

• Develop and support basic Power Automate workflows.

• Assist with Power Platform administration, integrations, and future Copilot/agent deployments.

• Identify opportunities to automate manual business processes.

Integrations & Application Support

• Support integrations between D365 and third-party applications.

• Troubleshoot integration, connectivity, and data synchronization issues.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain application performance and stability.

Continuous Improvement

• Drive optimization initiatives that improve operational efficiency and user experience.

• Support the organization’s ongoing automation, AI, and digital transformation efforts.

• 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 AND Supply Chain Management (SCM) experience:

o supporting and optimizing live D365 environments

o troubleshooting and support integrations between D365 and third- party enterprise apps

*supporting business process improvement and system enhancements

*Microsoft Power Platform experience, specifically:

o Power Automate

o Power Platform administration/deployment activities

o Agent/Copilot deployment support * Microsoft Dynamics 365 SCM Certification (MB-330 preferred but not required).

• Microsoft Power Platform certification (PL-200)

• Power Automate development, Dataverse, and Copilot/Agent deployments (in Power Automate)

• Experience with integrated platforms such as: FlintFox, Coupa, Freight management solutions

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
