Azure Data Engineer Associate

• 7+ years of U.S. federal experience with a Bachelor’s degree.\n
• Hands-on experience in enterprise data architecture and platform design.\n
• Experience with data integration, analytics enablement, and technical solutioning and proposal development.\n
• Ability to obtain a Position of Public Trust.\n, * Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or similar platforms.\n
• Experience with federal data programs and AI/ML data pipelines.\n
• Experience with lakehouse, warehouse, and hybrid data architectures.\n
• Active Top Secret clearance.\n

• Lead technical solutioning for federal opportunities involving enterprise data architecture, data platforms, analytics, and integration.\n
• Directly influence and help drive technical wins by defining differentiators, leading customer discussions and architecture sessions, and translating data capabilities into mission, reporting, and decision outcomes.\n
• Partner with Business Development and Capture to shape opportunities and present and defend data architecture approaches.\n

\n \nAI-Enabled Engineering (Required)\n \n \n

• Aleut Federal expects AI to be enabled through strong data architecture and governed data foundations.\n
• Design data architectures that support AI/ML, retrieval workflows, analytics, and operational decision support.\n
• Support data preparation, feature engineering, lineage, access control, and observability needed for production-grade AI use cases.\n
• Required: experience enabling AI or advanced analytics through enterprise data architecture. Strongly preferred for Senior Principal: delivered data platforms that directly support production AI systems with measurable outcomes.\n
• Ensure data used by AI systems is secure, governed, and compliant with federal requirements.\n

\n \nCapture, Proposal & Pricing\n \n \n

• Lead and contribute to technical proposal development for data opportunities.\n
• Author and own complete technical sections, including data architecture, ingestion and integration model, governance approach, and analytics enablement.\n
• Build BOEs aligned to platform scale, integration effort, and operational complexity.\n
• Ensure solutions are executable, differentiated, and aligned to mission needs.\n

\n \nDelivery Assurance & Technical QA\n \n \n

• Ensure alignment between proposed and delivered data solutions.\n
• Provide technical oversight during architecture, integration, and implementation phases.\n
• Identify and mitigate risks related to data quality, lineage, integration complexity, governance, and platform performance.\n

\n \nTechnical Marketing, Thought Leadership & Industry Engagement\n \n \n

• Develop data and analytics solution briefs, capability messaging, and reference patterns.\n
• Actively participate in customer briefings, industry events, and technical forums and be willing to speak on enterprise data strategy, analytics, and AI enablement.\n
• Position Aleut Federal as a credible enterprise data and analytics partner.\n
