TSSCI Senior Network Architect

Insight Global is seeking a TS/SCI Senior Server/Network Architect to support a large defense client out of Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. The Senior Server Network Architect is to serve as the organization’s top-level technical expert responsible for designing, developing, and evolving complex client/server network environments. This individual will lead network architecture initiatives, establish technical standards, evaluate emerging technologies, and provide strategic guidance for enterprise infrastructure modernization efforts.

The successful candidate will work closely with engineering teams, customers, vendors, and leadership to ensure network solutions align with mission requirements, security standards, and long-term organizational objectives. This role requires extensive experience designing and integrating enterprise network infrastructures in highly secure environments., * Serve as the senior technical authority for network architecture, engineering, and client/server infrastructure design.

• Develop long-term network strategy and create infrastructure roadmaps that support organizational objectives.

• Lead network integration and consolidation efforts across multiple network environments.

• Design, implement, and maintain complex enterprise network architectures.

• Troubleshoot and resolve highly complex technical issues involving network hardware, software, and infrastructure systems.

• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable network solutions.

• Collaborate with customers, vendors, engineers, and program stakeholders to develop technical solutions.

• Establish and document engineering standards, network architectures, technical designs, and system modifications.

• Evaluate current and emerging networking technologies and provide recommendations to senior leadership and Chief Engineers.

• Perform network modeling, capacity planning, performance analysis, and technology assessments.

• Advise leadership regarding technical feasibility, risk, and implementation approaches for future projects.

• Ensure network solutions comply with DoD cybersecurity and information assurance requirements.

Required Clearance/Certifications/Education:

• Active TS/SCI (CI Poly is preferred)

• Special Access Program (SAP) eligible

• Bachelor’s degree & 7 years of experience

• Associate’s degree & 9 years of experience

• No Degree & 11 years of experience

• Must meet DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II Certification within 6 months of hire date.

• CySA - GICSP

• SSCP

Must-Haves:

• 7-9 years of progressive experience in network engineering, network architecture, systems architecture, or related technical disciplines.

• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise networks for integration, modernization, and infrastructure planning.

• Developed standards for enterprise database connectivity and client/server infrastructure environments, including technologies such as SQL, Oracle, and Sybase.

• Expertise with Cisco Enterprise networking technologies, including routing, switching, and enterprise network design.

• Hands-on experience with Juniper network infrastructure and administration.

• Experience deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting Palo Alto Networks firewalls.

• Strong knowledge of VMware virtualization technologies and supporting virtualized network environments.

• Experience designing, implementing, and managing SD-WAN solutions.

• Knowledge of Cloud Networking architectures within AWS and Microsoft Azure Government (Azure GovCloud) environments.

• Experience supporting Oracle database connectivity within enterprise network infrastructures.

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server infrastructure, including network integration and performance considerations.

• Understanding and implementation experience with Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) principles and network security frameworks.

• Experience with Network Automation technologies, scripting, orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code concepts. Pluses:

• Special Access Program (SAP) experience

• Holds a DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II Certification

• Security - CCNA Security

• CySA - GICSP

• SSCP

Compensation: $61.15/hr. - $76.98/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
