Requirements

Develop and maintain various database applications on the IBM iseries platform, utilizing dynamic SQL, convert RPG code to sql stored procedures, performance tuning, logging and exception handling. -Expert SQL stored procedures, development experience in db2 IBM iseries platform. Please note that this is a MUST. If they just have embedded SQL and RPG experience, we are not going to move them to an interview. -Able to read RPGIV, RPGLE, RPGFree programs, embedded SQL -Conversion/modernization experience from RPG to SQL stored procedures in db2 -IBM tools such as Aldon, RDI, ACS etc

  • Application development experience interacting with front end using REST APIs, Json
  • exposure to python, microservices, VS code IDE development *+ git source control
