ETL Developer

ETL Design & Development:

• Develop and implement ETL processes to extract data from various sources, transform it as per business requirements, and load it into target systems.
• Design and develop complex SQL queries, scripts, and procedures to support data transformation and manipulation.

Data Integration:

• Integrate data from multiple sources including databases, flat files, APIs, and cloud services.
• Ensure seamless data flow between systems while maintaining data quality and consistency.

Performance Optimization:

• Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve ETL performance issues, data discrepancies, and failures.

Data Quality & Validation:

• Implement data validation and cleansing processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Monitor ETL jobs and workflows to ensure data loads are completed successfully and in a timely manner.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Create and maintain detailed documentation for ETL processes, workflows, and data mappings.
• Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into ETL performance and data quality.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with business analysts and data scientists to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
• Participate in data architecture and design discussions to ensure alignment with overall data strategy.

• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) is desirable.
• Experience with cloud-based ETL tools and services (e.g., Azure Data Factory or DataBricks) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Experience:

• Proven experience as an ETL Developer or in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as [e.g., Datafactory, Tableau, PowerBI].
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
