Job description

Work closely with clients, technical leads, and cross-functional teams to design and deliver scalable software solutions
Design, build, test, and deploy full-stack applications using Python, Django, and modern JavaScript frameworks
Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Django and Django REST Framework
Design and manage relational data models and ensure efficient data access patterns
Build and enhance frontend components using JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js preferred)
Collaborate across backend and frontend teams to deliver seamless user experiences
Support cloud-based deployments and infrastructure in AWS environments
Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to technical design discussions

Requirements

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in full-stack application development
Strong experience with Python and Django in production environments
Experience building frontend applications using JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js, React, or similar)
Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling concepts
Experience working with Django ORM and PostgreSQL (or similar)
Experience building REST APIs (Django REST Framework preferred)
Experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, ECS, RDS, etc.) Nice to Have
Experience with Celery or asynchronous processing
Experience optimizing database performance (indexing, query tuning, N+1 queries, etc.)
Experience working on large-scale or legacy system modernization efforts
Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
