Job description

We are seeking an experienced Computer Programmer IV to design, develop, maintain, and enhance complex software applications and systems supporting mission-critical operations. This role requires advanced programming expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to implement effective software solutions., * Design, develop, test, maintain, and document complex software applications and systems.

Analyze business and technical requirements and recommend efficient programming solutions.
Investigate system enhancements, application redesigns, and modernization opportunities.
Create and maintain program specifications, workflows, and technical documentation.
Develop and manage complex data structures, file relationships, and system integrations.
Troubleshoot and resolve advanced software and system issues.
Collaborate with users, analysts, and technical teams to support project objectives.
Support software testing, implementation, and deployment activities.
Prepare operating procedures and technical documentation for developed applications. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior programmers and technical staff. *

Requirements

Active Secret Security Clearance (required).
Strong experience in software development, programming, and system support.
Experience analyzing requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.
Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in both independent and team environments. *, * Experience supporting government, defense, engineering, logistics, or enterprise technology environments.
Familiarity with software modernization, system integration, and database technologies.
Experience leading technical efforts or mentoring development teams. Knowledge of secure software development practices. *
