Network Installation Technician

The Network Installation Technician will be providing support to more senior network engineers onsite at Fairfax County., * Assisting Network Engineers in the deployment of new network equipment

• Patching ethernet cables to patch panels and network switches
• Removing old equipment and mount new equipment
• Installing/configuring uninterruptable power supplies (UPS)
• Additional duties as assigned.

• BS or equivalent experience supporting network administration
• General knowledge of networking with familiarity of patching cables and configuring network equipment.
• Ability to lift 40lbs and climb 6’ ladders
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize various projects and meet target deadlines

The salary range for this position is $27.50 - 30.00/hr. This range reflects the anticipated base pay for the position and is not a guarantee of final compensation. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, contract requirements, and business needs.
