ITSTS - IT Help Desk and Training Specialist

The IT Help Desk & Training Specialist provides frontline technical support to staff and serves as a key point of contact for day-to-day technology needs and to ensure efficient use of organizational technology. This hybrid role supports end users to respond to, troubleshoot, document and resolve user support requests working collaboratively with existing IT staff. The position provides first-level support for computers, applications (i.e. Microsoft Office 365, athenaOne) printers, telephones and other organizational technology as well as providing backup reporting support and assisting with revenue cycle reporting. This role contributes directly to operational efficiency, staff competency, and continuous improvement of IT processes.

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Education, or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in IT support, end-user training, or related technical role.
• Experience supporting and training users on an EHR system; AthenaOne experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of Windows environments, Office 365 applications, and basic networking concepts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical information for non-technical users.
• Strong customer-service focus with the ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience creating training materials and using learning tools.
