Software Engineer

• Take ownership of software delivery from understanding the initial problem through to designing, building, testing, and delivering the solution.

• We are looking for engineers with 3+ years of commercial Software Engineering experience.
• We want strong engineering fundamentals and overall problem-solving ability.
• We are looking for engineers who are comfortable being technology agnostic.
• We ideally want experience in one or more of the following: Python, Java, C# / .NET, Rust, Go, TypeScript / JavaScript, React, or another modern software engineering stack.
• We are particularly interested in engineers with consultancy, professional services, or other client-facing technical experience.
• We want people who are technically strong, comfortable communicating directly with stakeholders, and interested in working across different technologies and business problems.

We are a rapidly growing technology consulting business in Newcastle upon Tyne, and we are hiring several Software Engineers due to significant client and project demand. This is a broad, client-facing engineering role for someone who wants to work across complex technology programmes for large organisations rather than staying within one product team and one technology stack. We are offering a base salary of £65,000-£130,000 depending on level and experience, plus a 10% bonus, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, pension contributions matched up to 6%, Bupa private medical insurance, modern Newcastle city-centre offices, a fully onsite working pattern, and significant growth and progression opportunities.
