2nd Line Support Engineer

• Provide 2nd line deskside and onsite IT support
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and access issues
• Manage incidents and service requests through to resolution
• Support Microsoft 365, Windows and endpoint environments
• Assist with projects, changes and service improvements
• Maintain accurate ticket records and technical documentation
• Provide a professional, customer-focused service

• Cloud, We are looking for an experienced 2nd Line Onsite Support Engineer to provide hands-on technical support at a client site near Poole in Dorset. The successful candidate will take ownership of incidents and service requests, troubleshoot technical issues and work closely with wider technical teams to deliver a high-quality service. Our service desk team is office based four days per week and works from home on Fridays, so please consider this before applying.

• Previous experience within a 2nd Line, Deskside or Onsite Support role
• Knowledge of technologies such as Microsoft 365, Windows and Exchange
• Knowledge of Entra ID / Azure AD
• Knowledge of SCCM and VMware
• Knowledge of networking and VoIP
• Knowledge of remote support and monitoring tools
• Experience with Cisco, Meraki, mobile devices, or WAN technologies would be beneficial but is not essential
• Ideally, we already hold SC Clearance
• Alternatively, applicants must be eligible to obtain clearance, including being a British Citizen who has lived continuously in the UK for the last five years
