IT Network Technician

Administration and maintenance of the telephone system, including telephone switches, computers connected to telephone systems. Assists with the creation of new hire telephone and voicemail extensions, routing extensions to appropriate locations and updating information as seating assignments change. Understands the wiring and switch issues involved in administering and maintaining corporate WLAN, LAN and WAN. Works closely with other departments in planning and coordinating larger projects. Help administrate and maintain the hotel key lock system and work with security and front desk personnel for auditing purposes. Has a basic understanding of the issues involved with administering and maintaining corporate infrastructure, including network connectivity, internet, email, etc. Creates network and email accounts for new users. Sets up computers for new users and ensures delivery of equipment to users in different locations if necessary. Works close with all IT team members on projects and tasks. Twenty-four (24)-hour seven (7)-day operation requires emergency coverage assistance as assigned. Ensure compliance with Federal, State and Tribal laws. Has limited access to accounting and network systems as set by Director of Information Technology. Maintains slot system network and wiring. Maintains phone systems as well as assisting with hotel key lock systems. All other duties as assigned (non-gaming functions and issued gaming license permitting).

Stress management skills. Time management skills., Associates Degree in the related field and/or two-year experience in related field. Casino experience preferred. Knowledge of computers, and slot machines. May be an entry level positions based upon level of schooling., Ability to sit and/or stand for extended length of time, eight to ten hours per day. Tolerance to work in a smoke-filled environment. Tolerance to be exposed to computer screen for prolonged periods of time. Tolerance and ability to cope with stress and a fast paced environment. Ability to work in an office setting, operate telephone devices, and a computer. Able to lift up to 30 pounds.
